Volleyball Recap: Duncan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Superior last Thursday, Duncan came back down to earth. The Duncan Wildkats came up short against the Morenci Wildcats on Monday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildkats in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

While Duncan had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-21.

Emily Kempton paced Duncan's offense, picking up eight kills. Kempton got some help from Brendy Paz and her seven assists.

Duncan now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Morenci, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

As of now, neither Duncan nor Morenci have any future games scheduled.
