Softball Recap: Whitko Wildcats vs. Southwood Knights
Whitko lost against Southwood back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Whitko Wildcats took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwood Knights.
Kaylee Adkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.
On Southwood's side, Natalie Sutphin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk).
