Fernandina Beach proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 33) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 7-6 photo finish over the Ribault Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fernandina Beach's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Ribault, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fernandina Beach will venture away from home to face off against Hilliard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ribault, they will square off against Sandalwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Ribault has played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
