Central skates past West Springfield with ease

Recap: Central Golden Eagles vs. West Springfield Terriers

Make it four blowout wins for the Central Golden Eagles this season. They blew past West Springfield 73-27 at home. The win was familiar territory for Central who now have three in a row.

Angalece Quinones continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jai-lyn Garvin-martin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for West Springfield, they bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Springfield will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Northampton at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
