Volleyball Recap: South Gwinnett Comes Up Short

The South Gwinnett Comets came up short against the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Pius X Catholic found their leader in sophomore Eveliina Campbell, who had eight assists and four aces. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

South Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

South Gwinnett has already played their next game (against North Gwinnett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Cherokee Bluff on the 9th.
