Baseball Recap: Pearl River Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pearl River Central can now relate to. They fell just short of the George County Rebels by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Pearl River Central and nudges their season record down to 22-12. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for George County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Pearl River Central nor George County have any future games scheduled.
