Recap: Cambridge Bluejays vs. Lakeside Lutheran Warriors
Even though the Cambridge Bluejays have not done well against the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cambridge enjoyed a cozy 62-43 victory over Lakeside Lutheran. For Cambridge, this counts as revenge for the 42-34 defeat Lakeside Lutheran walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Lakeside Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ava Stein, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieghtan Rank, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Lakeside Lutheran struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
Cambridge will be home for the holidays to greet Wisconsin Dells at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Lodi at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lodi is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
