Volleyball Recap: Mendon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mendon waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Reading Rangers. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mendon's victory bumped their record up to 22-3-1. As for Reading, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13-2 record this season.

Mendon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pittsford on the 9th. As for Reading, they will square off against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Orioles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
