The Warwick Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Woodside Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warwick is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Warwick took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Denbigh. It was an even better day for Abdul Mokhtar as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Woodside unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Menchville, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Woodside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Menchville are ranked tenth).

Woodside's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-1. As for Warwick, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Warwick couldn't quite get it done against Woodside in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
