Softball Game Preview: Ferris Saxons vs. University Titans

Ferris is 1-9 against University since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Saxons will look to defend their home field against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ferris lost 12-5 to Ridgeline on Tuesday.

Kenley Massender made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Hyndman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, University finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Mt. Spokane, falling 12-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

With the loss, University broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
