Soccer Recap: Shelby County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sipsey Valley two weeks ago, Shelby County came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Indian Springs Student on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for Shelby County in their meetings with Indian Springs: they've now lost four in a row.

Shelby County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Indian Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelby County will host Montevallo at 5:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Indian Springs, they will welcome Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
