Football Game Preview: Aspen vs. Cedaredge

Cedaredge will challenge Aspen on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The odds don't look promising for Cedaredge, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.

Cedaredge came up short against Buena Vista last week, falling 27-41. The loss shouldn't obscure the performances of senior Jared Reynolds, who rushed for 98 yards and 1 touchdown, and senior Wade Barnard, who rushed for 100 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, Aspen came up short against Bayfield, falling 8-20.

Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
