Basketball Recap: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

Chamblee lost against Woodward Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 69-56 to the War Eagles. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the War Eagles 24-17 in the first quarter.

Leading Woodward Academy to victory were Jarvis Hayes Jr. and Myles Hayes. Hayes Jr. almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards, while Hayes shot 44% from the field en route to 23 points and eight rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Hayes Jr. now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Bentley Lusakuneo, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

Chamblee has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Woodward Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.
