Columbus has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 4. They came up short against the Palacios Sharks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, with their most recent loss being a 1-0 defeat back in January.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Palacios, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will take on Rice Consolidated at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palacios, they will challenge El Campo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
