Softball Recap: Granada Takes a Loss

Granada lost to San Ramon Valley back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Matadors fell 7-2 to the Wolves. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Granada got a good showing from Kamryn Brannon, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Brannon has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Granada saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Ingram, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Granada's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for San Ramon Valley, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Ramon Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Livermore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Cowboys have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
