Basketball Recap: Yazoo County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yazoo County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 43-31 to the Warren Central Vikings. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Warren Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camara Evans out in front who posted 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Shaniya Lewis was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Yazoo County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Warren Central, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Yazoo County and Warren Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Panthers see the court they'll take on Yazoo City at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Warren Central, their break will end when they face Pearl at 6:00 p.m. on December 4.
