Baseball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

Patterson fell victim to St. James and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lumberjacks of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Patterson has also been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for St. James, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

While Patterson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
