Ramona gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the JW North Huskies 33-19. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row dating back to last season.

Ramona wouldn't let JW North keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force six fumbles. Gavin Mcgowan led the group effort, picking up three of those forced fumbles all by himself. Ramona got some further help from Troy Long: he made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, JW North still got an impressive performance from Anthony Zavala, who rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 56 yards and a touchdown. JW North also got a significant boost from Bronson Hogue, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.

Ramona will challenge Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ramona is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road dating back to last season. As for JW North, they will be defending their home-field for the first time for the first time when they go up against Poly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
