Football Recap: Pike Road Starts off Right with Win over Prattville + How To Watch

Pike Road gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Prattville Lions by a score of 21-14. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 41-37 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pike Road found their leader in sophomore Jordan Holmes, who made three total tackles and snagged three interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Pike Road didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Holmes picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Braylon Outlaw was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pike Road will square off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Prattville, they will face off against Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
