Soccer Recap: Medfield's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Norton on Tuesday, Medfield came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Dover-Sherborn Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Medfield were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Dover-Sherborn earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Medfield's defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3-1. As for Dover-Sherborn, they pushed their record up to 10-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Medfield and Dover-Sherborn should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Warriors will challenge Bellingham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (19 vs. 262). Meanwhile, Dover-Sherborn (ranked 34th) will meet Braintree (ranked 192nd) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
