Four Rivers' win ends four-game losing streak at home

Recap: Four Rivers Falcons vs. Notus Pirates
The Four Rivers Falcons can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 41-30 victory over Notus. Four Rivers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Notus still got an impressive performance from Yolanda Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Four Rivers' win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Notus, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Four Rivers will square off against Compass Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Compass Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday. As for Notus, they will head out on the road to face off against Gem State Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
