Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dominguez last Monday, Cabrillo came back down to earth. The Cabrillo Jaguars came up short against the Jordan Panthers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

While Cabrillo was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Jordan's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-21.

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Jordan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Cabrillo has already played their next contest (against Rancho Dominguez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jordan, they are taking a road trip to square off against Long Beach Poly at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Long Beach Poly their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
