Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Valley). Their defense stepped up to hand the Quincy Jackrabbits a 61-0 shutout on Friday. East Valley had a senior duo take command as Braden Albrecht gained 126 total yards and three touchdowns and Jaxon Berg threw for 184 yards and four TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. East Valley's leading receiver Greyson Stevens was Berg's top target yet again, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, East Valley will challenge Ellensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Quincy, they will square off against Othello at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jackrabbits will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
