Centauri has gone a perfect 10-0 against Sanford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Centauri will challenge Sanford at 3:00 a.m. Centauri has given up an average of 9.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Centauri after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Rocky Ford, falling 20-10. Even though they lost, the Falcons' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.5 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Jace Haslett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Warren Shelton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Haslett wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Centauri kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Sanford got the win against Center on Saturday by a conclusive 34-19. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Sanford now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Centauri, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Centauri beat Sanford 9-5 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centauri since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
