Football Game Preview: Stratford Bulldogs vs. Wynnewood Savages

The Stratford Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Wynnewood Savages at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Stratford has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Wynnewood will arrive with eight straight wins.

Stratford came up short against Christian Heritage on October 10th, falling 28-6.

Meanwhile, Wynnewood was able to grind out a solid victory over Frederick on Friday, taking the game 25-13.

Stratford better keep an eye on Phoenix Sparks. He was instrumental in Wynnewood's win, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns.

Wynnewood's run defense was locked in: Frederick could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The Savages' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.4.

Wynnewood's record now sits at 8-0. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Stratford suffered a grim 38-12 defeat to Wynnewood in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
