Basketball Recap: Blanche Ely Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Blanche Ely extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Jensen Beach. They took down the Jensen Beach Falcons 57-39. 57 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

It was another big night for Amari Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds. Teriyah Mcfadden was another key player, putting up four points along with eight assists and six steals.

Blanche Ely smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. They pulled down 11 more offensive boards than Jensen Beach's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Jensen Beach still got an impressive performance from Danielle Bell, who posted ten points.

Blanche Ely is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. Jensen Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7.
