Basketball Recap: Pine Victorious

There's no place like home for Pine, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 62-61 win over the Tradition Prep Pirates.

Despite the loss, Tradition Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aydan Fields went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The contest was Fields' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Syncere Cannon, who posted 15 points and six rebounds.

Pine's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Tradition Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
