Basketball Recap: Wood-Ridge Comes Up Short

Wood-Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Eastern Christian Eagles and fell 54-10. The match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wood-Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eastern Christian, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Wood-Ridge is taking a road trip to square off against Pompton Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hasbrouck Heights at 4:00 p.m.
