Volleyball Recap: Bullis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bullis can now relate to. They came up short against the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Hoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

Mia Fornasiero paced Bullis' offense, picking up four kills. Fornasiero got some help from Megan Phan and her five assists. Phan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bullis' loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Georgetown Day, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

As of now, neither Bullis nor the Mighty Hoppers have any future games scheduled.
