The Oxford Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 55-48 to Bartlett. Oxford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Oxford's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolan Remington, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Remington has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kofi Owusu, who scored 16 points.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bartlett, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Oxford will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colonels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bartlett, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
