After only seven points in their last matchup, Carbon Hill made sure to put some points up on the board against Hanceville on Friday. Carbon Hill put the hurt on Hanceville with a sharp 62-41 victory. Carbon Hill's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Michael Baker and Jake Gilreath. Baker rushed for 219 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries while Gilreath rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, Baker is now averaging an impressive 111.3 rushing yards per game. Marcus Pierce also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

Carbon Hill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 544 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
