Andrew Wiggins headed to Huntington Prep

The 6-foot-7 sophomore star will be one of five Canadians at West Virginia prep school.

Canadian basketball star Andrew Wiggins is transferring to Huntington Prep (Huntington, W. Va.), according to ZagsBlog.

The 6-foot-7 rising sophomore forward recently had 28 points and 13 rebounds to lead 16-under CIA Bounce to a comeback 66-55 victory over Garner Road Elite to win the Gold championship during the AAU Super Showcase in Kissimmee, Fla.

Huntington Prep will bid for high national ranking with a loaded schedule and a roster which includes five Canadians. Others are Negus Webster-Chan, Stefan Jankovic, Tanveer Bhullar and Xavier Rathan-Mayes.
