Baseball Preview: Wayne Badgers vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs        
        
		
             The Wayne Badgers will head out to  face off against the Bryce Valley Mustangs  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Wayne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
 Wayne lost  12-5 to Valley on Wednesday.
  Hunter Robins was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rigg Brinkerhoff, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Bryce Valley never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Green River as Bryce Valley made off with  a  12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Luke Andrus and  Antonio Moreno made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Andrus   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Moreno   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  strikeouts. At bat,  Andrus  went 2-for-5 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI, while  Moreno  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5. Andrus is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played dating back to last season.
 In other batting news,  Rocco Perez was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Mason Ahlstrom, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bryce Valley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .535. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green River only posted  an  OBP of  .269.
 Wayne has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record  this season. As for Bryce Valley, their victory was  their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 13-2.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wayne has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.6  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bryce Valley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.2. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Wayne suffered a grim  24-15 defeat to Bryce Valley  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. Can Wayne avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
