Manton had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lake City Trojans by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Manton's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Lake City, they moved to 17-12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Lake City has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Beaverton on the 4th. Hopefully Manton paid attention to the Trojans' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
