Volleyball Recap: Mesa Vista Comes Up Short

Mesa Vista lost against McCurdy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0.

While Mesa Vista had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Mesa Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for McCurdy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mesa Vista is set to face off against their familiar foe Escalante at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McCurdy will take on rival Penasco at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
