Basketball Recap: Sweetwater Comes Up Short

Sweetwater lost against Hereford on December 12th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sweetwater Mustangs took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hereford Whitefaces.

Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hereford, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sweetwater will welcome Jim Ned at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jim Ned will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sweetwater surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hereford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Borger at 7:30 p.m. Hereford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Borger likes a good challenge.
