Baseball Game Preview: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Lindbergh Eagles

The Cedarcrest Red Wolves will face off against the Lindbergh Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cedarcrest comes in on seven and Lindbergh on four.

On Wednesday, Cedarcrest made easy work of Evergreen and carried off a 22-1 win. The Red Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Davis Lee, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Judah Mallory was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Cedarcrest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .564. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Lindbergh was able to grind out a solid victory over Renton on Thursday, taking the game 14-10.

Cedarcrest's record is now 14-3. As for Lindbergh, their record now sits at 11-4.

Cedarcrest got the 'W' when the teams last played last Monday against Lindbergh by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
