Football Preview: Edison Vikings vs. Tracy Bulldogs

For the first time this season, Edison will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Tracy Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Edison will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Devin Rasmussen produced another solid effort throwing for 306 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 30 yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (163.2). Kailan Beaver was Rasmussen's top target, picking up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Edison, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Antwone Beattie, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

He threw for 238 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. A healthy portion of Brown's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Jeno Lawhorn.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tracy, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
