Basketball Game Preview: Muir Mustangs vs. San Marino Titans

The Muir Mustangs will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the San Marino Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Muir has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 25.

Muir is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Pasadena on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Muir was dealt a 71-28 defeat at the hands of Pasadena. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Marino, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Gabrielino on Monday. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

San Marino's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Muir, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
