Elyria Catholic fell victim to North Ridgeville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elyria Catholic fell to 22-1. As for North Ridgeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Elyria Catholic and North Ridgeville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings.
