Baseball Recap: Arnold Marlins vs. Providence School Stallions
On Friday, the Arnold Marlins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Providence School Stallions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Marlins.
Cooper Moss was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Moss wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Conor McCann, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The dominant performance gave McCann a new career-high in runs.
Arnold's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Providence School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
