Volleyball Recap: Western Panthers vs. Rensselaer Central Bombers
Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rensselaer Central Bombers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.
Western's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Rensselaer Central, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11.
Western has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Tipton on the 5th. As for Rensselaer Central, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Frontier at 6:00 p.m.
