Chase scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Natoma Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Kats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Natoma got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Simone Benazzi out in front who went 7-for-13 en route to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. Benazzi also posted an assist, marking his first of the season. Trentin Maupin was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 13 points and four steals.

Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Natoma, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Chase will head out to square off against Central Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Natoma, they will venture away from home to challenge Thunder Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
