Football Recap: St. Helens Takes a Loss

St. Helens came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Stayton Eagles, falling 49-6.

Liam Brown had an outrageously good game for Stayton as he rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Stayton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Helens will square off against McLoughlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stayton, they will venture away from home to face off against Gladstone/Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
