Seton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Milford Eagles by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Seton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 22-25, 25-22.
Seton was led to victory by Kirsten Kemper and Penelope Reisman. Kemper had 12 digs and two aces, while Reisman had seven digs and four aces. Kemper is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.
They weren't the only good servers: Seton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.
Seton's record is now 17-0. As for Milford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
Seton and Milford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Saints (ranked first) will meet Sycamore (ranked 80th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Milford will square off against Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (161 vs. 501).
