Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon Takes a Loss

Mt. Vernon lost against Thayer back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mt. Vernon Mountaineers came up short against the Thayer Bobcats, falling 67-42. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Vernon now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Thayer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Mt. Vernon will take on Nevada at 6:00 p.m. on January 6th. Thayer has already played their next game, a 71-40 win against Greenwood on the 30th.
