Dunwoody won the last time they faced Decatur and things went their way on Tuesday too. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Dunwoody Wildcats who were credited with the win. The Dunwoody Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Decatur Bulldogs' five. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Shelby Verlander.

The victory made it two in a row for Dunwoody and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Decatur, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Dunwoody face off against the Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on March 4th. Dunwoody is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Decatur, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Parkview on the 28th.
