Basketball Recap: Achievement First Comes Up Short

Achievement First was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 48-41 to the East Granby Crusaders. If Achievement First was looking for revenge after losing 45-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Achievement First's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for East Granby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Achievement First won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Granby, they will welcome Ellington at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
