Basketball Game Preview: Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs vs. North Oconee Titans

The Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs will face off against the North Oconee Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Winder-Barrow put up the most points they have all season last Tuesday. They blew past Morgan County, posting a 69-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldoggs.

Meanwhile, North Oconee suffered their closest defeat since November 16, 2024 last Friday. They fell just short of Queen's Grant by a score of 59-57. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Oconee fell to 3-1. As for Winder-Barrow, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Winder-Barrow was able to grind out a solid victory over North Oconee in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 74-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldoggs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
