Football Recap: Landon Hittle Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Jordan

Clearfield won the last time they faced Jordan and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons strolled past the Beetdiggers with points to spare, taking the game 23-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Clearfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Hittle, who picked up 109 receiving yards and one score. Those 109 receiving yards gave Hittle a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Brik Barlow, who threw for 166 yards and one TD.

Clearfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tayson Fisher and Bryson Ridge.

Clearfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jordan, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Clearfield will head out to square off against Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jordan, they will welcome Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Beetdiggers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
